Grammar Quiz

There will be a quiz on the Parts of Speech & Commonly Confused Words on Friday.

Please review all notes and hand-outs. You will be asked to do the following:

• Identify: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, interjections, prepositions, articles, and conjunctions.
• Proofread a paragraph and edit for spelling errors.
• Use commonly confused words in a sentence.
• Identify the most appropriate commonly confused word within a sentence.

Friday, Feb. 23

• Independant Reading
• Language 10 Questions (pg.128 #'s1-5)
• Passed out rubrics for Eyewitness Account (due Monday)
• Personal Impression Letter -- You must write a letter to a friend detailing your first experience at Ch'town Rural Highschool (this personal experience can be based on the first day or first week). Rubric will be passed out on Monday. Assignment is due on Wednesday.
